چکیده

Abstract Purpose The remarkable amount of preclinical data achieved on 89 Zr-PET imaging led to a significant clinical translation, concerning mainly immuno-PET applications. aim this systematic review is provide complete overview applications imaging, using approach identify and collect published studies performed in humans, sorted by field application specific disease subsections. Methods A literature search articles suiting the inclusion criteria was conducted Pubmed, Scopus, Central, Web Of Science databases, including papers from January 1967 November 2020. Eligible had be humans through PET with Zr-labeled compounds. methodological quality assessed Quality Assessment Diagnostic accuracy Studies-2 tool. Results total 821 were screened. 74 for eligibility exclusion further 18, thus 56 ultimately selected qualitative analysis. Conclusions Zr has shown powerful PET-imaging tool, particular radiolabeling antibodies order study antigen expression, biodistribution, anticancer treatment planning follow-up. Other than oncologic applications, Zr-radiolabeled have been proposed use inflammatory autoimmune disorders interesting results. nanoparticles represent groundbreaking radiopharmaceuticals potential huge fields application. To evaluate usefulness different conditions real-world settings, widen its practice, translation needed.

89Zr-cetuximab PET imaging in patients with advanced colorectal cancer

Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) are used in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer (mCRC). Approximately 50% of patients benefit despite patient selection for RAS wild type (wt) tumors. Based on the hypothesis that tumor targeting is required for clinical benefit of anti-EGFR treatment, biodistribution and tumor uptake of (89)Zr-cetuximab by...

89Zr-bevacizumab PET imaging in primary breast cancer.

UNLABELLED Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-A is overexpressed in most malignant and premalignant breast lesions. VEGF-A can be visualized noninvasively with PET imaging and using the tracer (89)Zr-labeled bevacizumab. In this clinical feasibility study, we assessed whether VEGF-A in primary breast cancer can be visualized by (89)Zr-bevacizumab PET. METHODS Before surgery, breast can...

Multicentre harmonization of 89Zr PET/CT performance

This study investigated the feasibility of quantitative accuracy and harmonized image quality in Zr-PET/CT multicentre studies. Methods: Five PET/CT scanners from 3 vendors were included. Zr activity was measured in a central dose calibrator before delivery.Local activity assays were based on volume as well as on the local dose calibrator. Accuracy and image noise were determined from a cross c...
